FUEL ADDITIVE

A CONDITIONER AND LUBRICANT

Australian diesel has a maximum of 10mg/kg or 10 parts per million. This means that for every kilo of diesel there can be no more than 10 milligrams of sulphur. This is called Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel and is the standard in Australia with the introduction of EN 590.

EN 590 is the european quality standard for road diesel and it tells fuel makers exactly how the diesel must be made and it controls how easily it flows in weather conditions, how clean it is (low sulphur, less pollution), how much energy it gives the engine, what additives are allowed, and safety rules.

Modern vehicles have advanced emission control systems and using a high sulphur diesel can overload and damage them. Lowering the sulphur makes the diesel cleaner for the engine and the environment.

However, when sulphur was reduced with the introduction of EN 590, the fuel became less slippery and lacked the required lubrication. That's why we developed our additive to lubricate, condition, clean and coat the raw internal materials of the high pressure system.
